Politics become a part of Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim at Doldem Hospital. It was because of the Director of Geosang who was greedy over position and money. He pulled strings to crush Teacher Kim by any mean.

As Teacher Kim was monitoring Chairman Shin and was about to operate him the Director of Geosang messed up the situation by interfering and telling on Chairman Shin's daughter about Teacher Kim. Things become more complicated when Chairman Shin's daughter showed up and argued with Teacher Kim. She was against him to operate on his father or else she will take legal action as the guardian.

But for Chairman Shin after knowing his situation of heart and the lung cancer he didn't listen to his daughter and decided to go along with his decision as to choose Doctor Kim to operate on him no matter what.
Things didn't go Chairman's Shin's way as the Director of Geosang use dirty politics and plan to ruin Doctor Kim. Before the surgery things become more complicated as Director of Geosang couldn't come up to stop it but instead make a difficult deal for Teacher Kim to choose or to give up on his staff. He was the only one wicked to ruined the career and peace of Doctor Kim's life.
