Yoon Gyun-Sang as the Robbin Hood in Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People - Teaser

Year 2017 really giving us the master piece stories for Seaguk. A new drama Rebel Thief who stole the people starting soon on MBC. Yoon Gyun Sang plays the role of Hong Gil Dong the first revolutionist and dissident activist in Joseon.

Cha Soo Bin plays the female lead role. She reminded us of her recent drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" though she is not a very good actress to be in our favourite que list. Yet the fresh cast will surely make a great chemistry.
The story revolves around the life of Hong Gil Dong who was known as the Robin Hood, stole from the rich and help the poor. Though he has no legal standing in society and known as the son of the concubine. He somehow become the leader of smugglers and rescue a widow who also has the same aim to kill the king as to take revenge for losing her husband.

This story has been written by "Hwang Jin Young" and directed by "Kim Jin-man" who mark the master piece "kill me heal me".

This drama sounds the sequel of Hong Gil Dong and expected to be 30 episode serial. It will going to start right after the "Night Light" ends. We are interested to see how much change this story shows for the folk tale hero. Looking forward to watch it.
