We were really touched with the series Let's eat season 1 and let's eat season 2. We were waiting for let's eat season 3 instead we come to watch "Let's Drink / Drinking Solo". A similar theme drama which shows the lives of the teachers and student who love to drink and eat.

It was a story of the Teachers and the student of the famous tutoring academy in Seoul. This academy was famous after Ha Seok Jin joined. He was known as a "High Quality Trash" among his co workers. As for the student he was the brilliant, intelligent and hard working teacher. He appears to be arrogant reserved personality who has a habit of drinking solo.

We really enjoyed Ha Seok Jin's character here as he deliciously eat which make our mouth watery. As for the drink he never drunk too much to knock out, he has high standards and a reputation. he always check his alcohol level with an application install in his mobile. 

After watching 4 episode we just skipped the serial. It was due to their daily routein life didn't attract our attention yet we completely watch this drama when the serial ends. It was like a quireky slice life drama in which every teacher was struggling hard to survive and wanted to become closer to Ha Seok Jin because of his popularity among student and high profiled education.

One of them there was the female teacher Park Ha Na struggling hard to survive but her stupid acts turn her into a laughing stock into the students. It happened on her first lecture when she fainted during the student teacher introduction.

Drinking Solo was a very fun drama that was an easy watch. It’s like a quirky slice of life drama. We get a look into a tutoring academy as we watch the joys and struggles of the teachers and students. But this little world is populated by some very unique and off-the-wall characters that provide lots of laughs and entertainment.

Professor Jin give her name "Nau Gaeru" a new employee who did stupid things knowingly. She also love to drink and always dream to become a prominent teacher who can confidentally face Professor Jin as when ever she meets him she become nervous.

There were many funny things but our only interest was focus on when they drink and eat delicious food. This drama was really a piece of art and the food presentation was awesome. We love specially when Professor Jin eat it. He makes really great faces showing he is really enjoying his solo life without any disturbance.  

Other then professor Jin, Professor Park Ha Na appears to be a quite pushover. She always visit Professor Jin social account to check out his recent status and always the one who never forget to comment. 

In other words she was impressed and envy the way Professor Jin takes life and always drink alone having expensive delicious food. Of course she was sweet and lovely but was struggling hard for the life. Also at the academy it was tough for her to survive.

She had to struggle a lot being a new teacher. While drinking she always make hilarious expressions as if she had a better meal then Professor Jin. We wonder why she always compare herself t the high quality trash. Aside her nature she was too observant when it comes to drink and eat. 

There is a lot more to talk about this unique drama. As we come to knew the daily life of different people how they enjoy drinking solo while talking about their sorrows and happiness at the same time.  

There was plenty of alcohol, drinks and Sujo every body loved it. The drama paints a picture how people indulged in alcohol to deal with their problems. It make us feel that they were comforted with alcohol and some time it didn't help. We believe if you drink too much you won't able to over come your sorrows and things will be really a mess.  

Over all it was a light and fun drama which make us remind of High Quality Trash and his drinking habits. There was lot of humor in every episode specially when one of the fellow Professor every day change his disguise with the famous characters with their accent. Some times he appear to be a chef, sometime a solider, sometime a detective. We can just say it was nicely balanced, humor and comedy filled drama we didn't regret watching it. 

The two opposite personalities naturally become closer and started to concern each other. But when Professor Jin actually started feeling toward Park Ha Na she stepped back finding it odd by him. She realize she doesn't fit for the qualified High Quality Trash so she changed her mind.

But for Professor Jin he couldn't step back avoiding Ha Na. The more she avoid the more Professor Jin try to spend time with her. He wanted to be in her good book but was a bit late yet he didn't give up and tried all sort of thing which were beyond his nature and arrogant personality.

He feels really sorry for hurting her and express his true feelings though he was mean to her at first but didn't approach her with false intentions. This makes Ha Na feel a little better and when Professor Jin was about to leave she suddenly kiss him.
It was just a peek kiss which made professor Jin realize the true feelings of Ha Na. he couldn't let himself leave as don't want to miss the very special moment of his life where he receives a silent confession from the women who without knocking enter into his heart. He then passionately kissed her.

It was a funny date we really going to remember for a long time. The Boss at the academy set a blind date for professor Jin. It was his way for caring about Professor Jin. We though Professor Jin won't agree for the date as he has high standards yet to make Professor Park feel down he agreed to go for it.

We wonder regarding his personality will this be a peaceful date. Something fishy was spreading its smell. Yet we were correct at the date Professor Jin kept missing Professor Park for no reason and make the women lose temper by saying he can't see her anymore. It was the least straightforward and politeness from Professor Jin to reject her.

He didn't expect any of the reaction, neither were we. Ye the scene changes and the Boss was describing with what kind of women Professor Jin was on the date today.  He skipped to tell the details as the women was really quick tempered and never miss a moment to make her decision and take quick action. The peaceful date turned into a mess. The women beat professor Jin with the Crab they were about to eat.

Professor Jin shocked with the sudden attack and couldn't understand what wrong  he did to be treated with the beating of crab. It was the second time we saw fear and anger on Professor Jin's face. The two of them then argued who is better.

The crazy girl couldn't go down so easily she attack again, but before her action Profession react and try to snatch the weapon which was was nothing then dangerous any thing but the crab. Finally Professor Jin accomplished taking over the crab in his possession and was dancing as the victory.

This put more fire to the anger of the crazy girl she then threw water on Professor Jin as she couldn't stand him this happy. After throwing water drank and left leaving Professor Jin all surprised and shocked. It was really a hilarious scene which made us laugh out louder. We have never seen any date this funny which end with the beating by the crab and the water.

Drinking solo was a quite light comedy and daily life drama. We enjoyed Professor Jin and Professor Park Ha Na chemistry. Professor Jin has an arrogant personality he never become friendly with the co workers yet things happen at the academy. He started to concern with Professor Park she was the newbie and always do stupid things.

Therefore she received a nick "Nau gaeru" by Professor Jin. To promote their tutoring session the academy announce joint class it makes Professor Park really happy that way she will be acknowledge by the students working with the senior professor.

She was teamed with Professor Jin who doing everything as a boyfriend for her but labeled it for the joint class. It was his only excuse to spend time with professor Park. The first class for Professor Park got canceled for some reasons and Professor Jin was assigned to drove her from there.  

It was rather a funny scene during a drive professor Jin with an excuse i am just letting you ride with me is because of the joint class session. We really laugh. It was the funny drive Ha Na looks tense and nervous at  the same time when Professor Jin point that he is confused will they make it in time or time.

Hearing  this she feel sorry and then speed up. Seeing Professor Jin expressions we couldn't control our laugh look like she was not driving but racing with the other cars on the road. This scene remind us of "Cinderella and the four Knights". The drive scene looks similar but it was opposite Ha Na was racing and  Hye Ji was driving like a turtle. We really enjoyed Ha Na's driving it was the first thing ever which made Professor Jin scared like a child.

No doubt things were getting interesting between Professor Park & Professor Jin and we were curious to know how and where will they realize what actually they want. Professor Park was now confused with herself as of Professor Jin behaviour. She also couldn't believe and understand after Professor Jin's blind date with the doctor why he is like this to her. As Professor Jin always abandoned Professor Park and left her in the middle of thing like he did back on the bridge. 

The things were confusing not only for Professor park to understand but also Professor Jin was also in a complicated situation. He couldn't able to find the reason why he is acting weird lately. But somehow he realize that he actually likes Professor Park and that's why he calls her Nau Gae Ru.
We smiled when the Preview shows another scene how Professor Jin aka High Quality Trash try to impress Professor Park and wanted to be acknowledge by her. He bought a cheese cake for her, it wasn't a surprise but a shock. He acted like a kinda garden child who's reporting to the teacher i did, this , this , this by my self going there.

After then the cake didn't work on Professor Park he bought a premium quality coffee and invites Professor Park to have a chat upstairs while drinking this coffee. She politely refuse and went her way. This makes Professor Jin not only angry but more confident that he won't give up and will do his best to get on Professor Park.

Unluckily his little brother Go Myung end up in an road accident witness by Professor Park. So stay tuned to knew what will be next in episode 11.

Ha Seok-Jin happen to be the most luckiest this year as he got two dramas of the same slot one is "Drinking Solo" & other is "Something about 1 Percent". He proved himself a versatile actor. In both plays he appears to be the rude and arrogant guy that really suited him and made the viewers wait one week to watch the next episode. 

Jeon So Min as the special appearance will be seen in episode 10. We never imagine we would see her after watching her in the "Maids". It will be a twist in drinking Solo wether Professor Jo will be having a blind date with Jeon So Min. As we thought this blind date with Professor Park but it wasn't.

Professor Park was very heart broken after knowing about Professor Jin's blind date. Her friend put more fire saying did Professor Park know you like him.
On the other hand the student were busy in their studies specially Gong Myung which makes Ki Bum jealous and he misunderstood him. But let go of his friend. He wanted to play with him but they ended up argue.

Things weren't as simple as we thought. Professor Jin and Professor Park were having a ride together and Professor Park unexpectedly to Professor Jin "You had a crush on Me me, don't you" this makes us surprise and makes Professor Park angry and he started burning on flames. He couldn't beleive to hear those words.

It was hard to believe for Professor Park how can he like that Nau Gae Ru and their chemistry makes the story more of interesting. He was confused and angry and burst on Professor Park to apologize what she said before and there are things will surely reveal their connection in next episode.

Professor Jin happen enjoying spending time with Professor Park but it was hard to admit so every time he come up with the wall the purpose is for joint class. s we knew his nature it wouldn't an easy task he would realize to accept the fact that he really want to be with Professor Park.

He called Professor Park and told from now he will be giving her pick and drop ride as if she take the bus and subway she will be late. Also he clear things he isn't doing it for any other motive its all for the joint class.

On their way to the academy Professor Park notice the sign board which shows the wine Cave. Here we come to knew a place known as wine cave who had different type of wines kept in different cellars. This scene remind us of a drama "Terrior" about the production and selling of wines.

She had a special lecture and Professor Jin wanted her to do her best. But unfortunately the class got cancelled due to some electricity reasons. Listening the class got canceled Professor Park was a little dishearted as she put a lot of efforts in preparing the lecture. To make her feel relaxed Professor Jin take her to the wine cave and bought her the wine. She was a happy like a little child and didn't wanted to drink alone so she offered Professor Jin to drink with her as drinking solo also she is greatful and wanted to give him treat.
They both ended up at the resturant for the first time drink together so it was the end of Drinking Solo and a start of Drinking together. On the inside Professor Jin was confused why he agreed to come here and why drinking with that women. Its not his type neither he like drinking together. As he always loves drinking Solo.

professor Park take a excuse to use the washroom when she came back and about to sit some body who was crossing from there pushed her and she end up over Professor Jin's face. They both startled for a moment she was a little embarrassed and was sorry that it was by mistake she didn't mean it. The next moment Professor Jin make her comfortable saying she can do the mistake again and stand at teh back of Professor Park.

Give her the shoulder massage to relax the nerve she was all confused why he being so good to me. The very next moment he moved his head down our Professor Park face and kiss her . We were surprised an Professor park was shocked she never imagine she would receive a kiss like that by Professor Jin.

She was about to say something but came back to her senses listening professor voice "No Gae Rue". She opened her eyes it was imaginary scene she day dreamed of and Professor Jin didn't had any idea what she was thinking. She feel too embarrass and replied that her neck was all tense so she try to stretch. She hid her face out of embarrassment as she couldn't had the courage to face Professor Jin. Though it was an imaginary kiss but it really was a romantic scene we enjoyed.

We really enjoy every encounter and scene of Ha Seok-Jin as Professor Jin and Park Ha-Sun as Professor Park in drinking Solo. As they both had different personalities but their chemistry did not let the viewer drive their attention. All we are curious as how will their chemistry lead them to their romantic love life.

As of both had the secret crush on each other but denied this fact saying how could they to end up being fall for each other. It was a really romantic encounter as of we wonder what made Professor Jin change to promote Professor Park live Chat and they both end up with the promise to go together and watch the fireworks if the video will more viewers above then 500. 

To make it possible on one visitors request they both dance and we really enjoyed it. Finally the live chat made up to 500 views and they end up going to watch the fireworks. We were sure something might be happen between the two but what it would be wasn't clear yet.

Professor Park took a picture and post it to make sure the viewers they had kept their promise. after this she become more of greedy what if she can post the fireworks video for those students who couldn't make it come here and watch it but due to a big crowd it was very difficult for her to capture the video. 

Some how she become jealous of a little kid who was having a ride on his father's shoulder. She wish she could have done that. Listening to this Professor Jin provide her service and ask her she can do it with him. Along she we were too surprised what made Professor Park put such a offer. She refused to get on Professor Park's shoulder but Professor Park said he it not doing it because of her but its to promote Professor Park & their joint class session. How clever he was. 

Doing each and everything and hiding it behind the wall of "Joint Class". They look so adorable together as professor Park on Professor Jin shoulder and filming the fireworks video. Suddenly a kid ran towards him and Professor Jin lose his balance so well Professor Park.

We thought both would fell down and hurt their backs but Professor Jin manage to stand still instead Professor Park was all dizzy lost her balance and body control. She just end up kissing Professor Jin. Omo it was such a romantic style kiss we never imagine it to be like that. Though it was by mistake by we were sure that Professor Jin must like it and will go crazy afterwards for sure. How this scene happen to take place don't miss to watch the video below.

Things getting interesting as the story of drinking Solo proceed. There were many moments where the characters imagine something as is it imagining or is it for real. It was an interesting scene we really enjoyed when Gong Myung happen to record Professor Park audio where she happen to say "If Jin Myung happen to pass the exam i seriously consider going out with him" Oh my gosh what if she really go out with her what will be the chemistry with Professor Jin and their secret crushes work out.

We were shocked to see Jin Myung actually propose Professor Park at the academy in the class. He was well prepared looking all handsome appears with the bouquet of red roses. Being way too romantic of his age he proposed Professor Park infront of all the students and this wasn't it. He just grab her back spin her body and kissed her. Omo so it was their first kiss. They should be happy but we are worried as of Professor Jin reaction when he knew his little brother kissed Professor Park.

But thanks goodness it wasn't a real kiss but an imaginary kiss of Gong Myung which happened in reality to be with the promotional tissue pack of Professor Park. Seeing this we were relieved and really laugh on Gong Myung romantic imagination for the time drive our attention and made us think crazy about Professor Jin.

It was a right choice to take a ride with Drinking Solo the things between Professor jin and Ha Na become more of interesting behind the name of joint class. Professor Jin did all things for Ha Na beside his arrogant personality and was caught by Ha Na that he actually likes her but it was hard to believe for Professor himself that how can he fall for No Gae Reu tha nick name of Professor Ha Na.

Professor jin was full of himself so it was hard to believe his own feelings. He was all mad on himself and mimics how Professor Ha Na caught on his feelings. Ha Na was all worried to face Professor Jin as of her immature behaviour she made lot of mistakes and was now confused wether to say sorry or just to ignore.
She take out her anger on Gong Myung who was happy sharing his academic progress on the exam and was sure to get good position, if it was so he will go out with Professor Ha Na this makes Professor Ha Na all angry and she scold him. After getting a scolding by Professor Ha Na he ask help from one of the excellent female student to tutor him.

One of the senior Professor set a blind date for Professor Jin and told him he agreed to go out after seeing Ha Na's facial expression. The preview ends here will surely knew that blind date for Professor Jin will be Ha Na.

Daebak episode episode 8 will surely be a romantic one. Professor Jin was surprised by his act that he kissed Ha Na. He can't believe himself for doing this and it was a really interesting sneak from the preview.

It wasn't only Professor jin but Ha Na who after getting some conscious become all worried of her action that how will she going to face Professor Jin at work. Both pretend to be fine but were actually not and trying to avoid facing as much as possible. Ha Na's friend Jin Yi was curious to knew is something fish y or going on between Ha Na and Professor Jin if they both or Professor only likes her. But this truth was hard to digest for Ha Na how can the "High Quality Trash" falls for her.

Professor Jin was out of trac and make it a duty to pick Ha Na as the super wiser of "Joint class". But they didn't go to the academy instead but they end up going at the wine cave. Another situation will surely enjoy in the next episode as we just got a clip to see Professor Jin gave his coat to Ha Na telling that he don't want to wear it as he is feeling hot as Ha Na turned around he started shivering out of cold ehehehe.
Finally he showed how he feels but denied the fact behind "Joint Class". Being a solo drinker "Let's Drink Together" so it was the true motive of Professor Jin and Finally hide drinking together behind the "Joint Class wall" as of what all he is doing was due to the reason of the joint class.

He shows a lot of care for Ha Na as a boyfriend thus care for his girl but it was hard for Ha Na to believe that Professor Jin is actually being nice to her. She realize the fact that she is not the lead of any romantic drama but somehow she become one. As we never expect this Romantic act from Professor Jin. He already made his position too close to Ha Na's lips and was about to have a kiss but the preview ends here omo what will happen next will have to wait for episode 9.

As the story for drinking solo moves further Professor Jin beside having a habit of drinking solo and enjoying his food started to worry about Professor Ha Na. On the other hand Ha Na manage to gather her courage as she lost confidence and fainted. We really smiled seeing how she was practicing to face the students in the next class.

Things will surely be fun in episode 7 as we have seen another getup of Professor Min Jin-Woong and this time he appears in a a chef;s getup. We wonder what he want to do may be changing getup must make him feel that he has skills and is an outstanding one.
Things become hard for Gong Myung and he was scold by his elder brother Professor Jin for not showing hard and doing good enough to be praised. But he stood up over the scolding and reply he is not the same to be bossed around and again he lose his interest and motivation for study.

Preview: Drinking Solo Episode 6 Preview

It won't be a fun watching the serial where there is no misunderstanding so another misunderstanding happen in episode 7 and it will be between Professor Ha Na Professor Jin. We really enjoyed watching the preview how Professor Jin misunderstood Professor Ha Na dating and announce in the office how can she give motivation to the students as her mind somewhere else because she is dating someone. It was a blast for Ha Na and other colleagues but we take it as the jealousy Professor Jin started to feel for Ha Na.

So it wasn't only a drama about Drinking Solo but turned up to a rom com serial. It was Ha Na first joint class she was all prepared well but unfortunately things didn't go well with her and she fainted as soon as she entered in the class when she wake up she was in the hospital. The student made her more popular by uploading her fainting video on the internet. This surely become viral and we laughed. But Professor Jin was seriously worried for her.

As she was always the first one to comment on Professor Jin social account when ever it was updated but it didn't happen and he was all curious what the matter why isn't she responding. He called her but couldn't get a reply either.
Professor Jin had a personality like a chameleon who change its color instantly same was Professor jin attitude and behaviour and we can't a cue to knew what he thinks and what he thinks not. But Ha Na for sure got a feeling that she is being liked by Professor Jin and he act differently at times.

Professor Ha Na again happen to share her suffered feelings with Professor Jin's little brother Gong Myung and passed out after getting drunk. Gong Myng didn't miss a chance to say that Professor Ha Na needs a boyfriend. Now we are all curious who will be the first knight of Professor Ha Na as her boyfriend.

As we were curious for Professor Jin's attitude it was still the reaction of the misunderstanding as he was mad at Ha Na who just promoted her brother. But actually Ha Na had a hard life and Gong Myung happen to be at times there to console Ha Na and find her cute. He didn't miss a chance to propose Professor Ha Na to be his girlfriend. We laugh he still a student with unclear future, no job and status but still want a girlfriend who is Professor.
Min Hoo had a special appearance in the next episode as a arrogant student and made Ki-Bum dance and sing for him. After Ha Na got drunk she cursed Professor Jin and now was all worry admitting she made a mistake again. They had a photoshoot and a video recording for academy joint classes she was trying to avoid facing Professor Jin but end up at the photoshoot. Professor Jin want Ha Na to stand beside me omo omo what's this change i think the sun is came out of blue. So we are all curious how the sun will shine along the blue in further episodes.

The other staff was too keen to notice Professor Jin behaviour towards Ha Na and talk openly that he might have feelings for her. Ha Na acted all confused as she had been caught for doing nothing she was scolded by Professor Jin not to act like this be confident to say what ever she want. Now she was confused as Professor Jin really had feeling for her? For us we are for sure he does have started to feel differently for Ha Na.

As the things in drinking solo had the academy we getting more of interest. Another Professor Min Jin-Woong had the influence in the story as he was inspired by many korean dramas like us and always appears with a unique getup of the famous characters which make us really smile. Though he also doesn't have much students but he never disheart and enjoy every moment lively. 

There was a misunderstand between Professor Jin & Ha Na from the second episode and we wish it would clear soon as Professor Jin treat her harshly. We hope there will be a time when he realize he misjudge her and it could possible change his opinion and make him like her. Its a fact that there are people who seems horrible and arrogant by nature but infact that's not the truth.
Ha Na got more confident as she was nominated for the joint Class with Professor Jin. Hwang Jin-Yi is Ha Na's professor friend at the academy was happy being pregnant and shared this happy news with her.

Every thing was going smoothly at the academy but a twist came up and we were surprised to knew that Professor Jin little brother Gong Myung started to take interests in Professor Ha Na as he was the student in Ha Na's class. But no body knew he was Professor Jin's little brother. He proposed Ha Na to start date. It will surely be a no.

Professor Ha Na ask Professor Jin for a drink and told him that she heard there conversation about taking her as to be a substitute for the joint class and called Professor Jin obnoxious who select her for being more potential for lied infront of her. So things will surely be clear in the next episode. Have a happy drinking solo.

With our seat belt tight we were on the journey to watch drinking solo and was now curious as of how the two main lead will do their classes as Professor Jin had more than 1000 students and Ha Na only had 10 students a big gap. The students were there to prepare for civil service exams that's pretty hard as i knew my elder brother also passed the CSS exam. 

Professor Jin Jung Suk was most popular instructor and always full classes as for Ha Na who was too devoted but with a bad luck. We feel sorry for her hard life. She use to call Professor Jin the "Extremely arrogant" and other call him "High Quality Trash" which made us smile as the nick was too unique a trash more over its a high quality.
The male lead doesn't had this kind of personality from the start and things turned up and one of his senior suck his luck and snatch his position by copying his thesis and bribing the professor in charge. The female lead want to make her place but with the bad luck she was always bow down infront of others, as she got low self esteem which makes her a target for Professor Jin Jung Suk who never miss a moment to tease her.

 Both had a habit to drink in their unique style, alone and console themselves after the hard day long. Ha Na as the friend of Jin Hee and they also work mates at the same academy. So there is a twist how the both having different personalities and taste end up their chemistry with each other will surely knew in the next episode.

Drinking Solo a new drama serial starting Ha Seok-Jin & Park Ha-Sun. It remind us of Let's eat season one and two. So we decided to watch it. The first episode was an introductory and also has the element of drink and food which seems to be quite interesting.

Episode 2 preview make us a little curious as how the male and female lead will entangled. As the male lead being arrogant, he doesn't like the female instructor Park Ha-Na and calls her No Gae Rue. Every one was suspicious of Professor Jin Jung-Suk who was using fake degrees and a fake name. Also the truth of his real name and academic record will be revealed in the next episode.
When ever Ha Na tried to do something good everything becomes a mess. We were surprised to see a unique story of how teachers live their life and had problems aside this they take out some time for themselves to drink out and eat.

As the two lead hate each other the problem between them arise bigger and both were not once good book. Also we are curious to knew how the academy works and what is academy's student and teacher's life. As we have seen many collage and school dramas so it will be the first.

We are glad that we choose drinking solo as a first episode a bit slow but we are sure it will be a good treat for our weekends. Also we feels that the story will surely take its flight up high in further episodes.

Drinking Solo depicts people drinking alcohol alone for different reasons. It reminds us of Let's Eat Season 1 and 2. Or you can say drinking solo its the sequence of "Let's Eat".
