This time we went in the world of 1930, the country happen to be Korea's old Seoul. It was a very light comedy drama with colors of old fashion and a scandal which wasn't big enough to be called Capital scandal.
The two leave the station and Woo Wan turns on his typical charm to introduce himself to Yeo Kyung, but she is in no mood to deal with this prissy playboy. He begins to blame her for his lost merchandise and she punches him leaving him flabbergasted.
It was the story which revolve around the secret underground club in the capital seoul where people for the revolution gather and do secret activities but for other people it was a night club where they use to come for enjoyment, drink and dance.
It was another hilarious scene when Woo Wan help Yeo Kayung and save her form the police and she threat him by pointing gun at him. There were 3 most hilarious scenes we enjoyed and remember when ever Seon Woo Wan try to get an introduction with Na Yo Keyung at first she left, when second she punch his face and thirdly she pull a gun. How brave she was to act like this.
All their costumes were too bright in colors. Their etiquettes of meeting, drinking, eating and dressing were too change then of now we knew.
Woo Wan was the son of a wealthy Korean businessman. Due to his father's support of the Japanese, they have retained their wealth and position of power in society. In essence, his father is a collaborator. Woo Wan doesn't take life seriously, and is an obvious playboy. He roam around the Seoul, wrote stories in newspaper.
The camera equipment was too antique and classic i love that style. In one of the episode when Woo Wan trying to help a child to won rubber shoes come out to be a scandal with Ye Kyung and was printed on the front page of newspaper. They hide the eyes with black label as if they are hiding the real person by bluring something.
As the story moves every scene we enjoyed it was too hilarious Woo Wan when ever try to become serious he create a blunder and we laugh. People assume she is having a affair with Yoo Keyung.
We remember the book store the giaseung house, the hold hut, the club the newspaper office all were too good for the story. In one of the episode Woo Wan while having tea at the cafe overheared the conversation and finds out about the "kissing game" from one of the other gisaengs.
He publishes the article about the latest scandal which leads Yeo Kyung to get on his case. She comes to confront him at his office but luckily he was out with his friends for celebration of their article success.
His friends give Yeo Kyung the nick name "Jo Ma Ja ". She was always dressed in white. She use to call Woo Wan the play boy.
The drama took another turn when the freedom fighter activites expand their network and the government and police took action to capture them. The way the member of freedom fighter send and receive message in code wording were too interesting.
So the capital scandal become more and more interesting along with all the funny situations. We were enjoying every moment and every episode. It was fun, exciting and a little thrilling when Woo Wan become a part of Freedom movement after finding the reason behind his brothers death.
In the end it become the scandal which not only rocked the capital but amazed its viewers. It was nice watching Kang Ji Hwan in this role.
The story took another turn Woo Won other friends made a bet on Yeo Kyung and Woo Won will they fall in love.
From this scene the story become more interesting unknowingly Woo won started to fall for Yeo Kyun but neither he nor she admitting the fact. He tease her by saying should we play the kissing game , i will teach you what love is and she become all shy with the blushed face.
When ever they meet they argue. Woo Won friends had a drink at Giaseng and Jo Ma Ja got drunked. They took her too Woo Wons room and left. When they both wake up they argue on revolusion.
