Shopping King Louis give us the powerful impact as what would be the shopping king. Also the title remind us of King of dramas. So we give it a watch. The first episode really wasn't worth watching. It was the introduction of the main characters.
Many things seems off their place as it starts with the girl name Bok Sil who use to live in the rural areas but end up coming to Seoul to find her only little brother. She miss took Louis as her brother because he was wearing the same jacket she bought for Bok Nam.
The track of the story seems a bit off and we thought it would going to be interesting in further episodes. Bok had a soft heart although she was poor and don't have enough money but she still kept Louis with her as she thought he would be the only way to find her brother.
Unfortunately Louis was suffering from memory loss so he couldn't of any help. We wonder what comes in the writers mind to show up the main lead in the most stupid character. Moreover he eat like a pig. Seeing him it felt like myself to throw up.
As the introduction he was shown to be a well mannered, hygiene freak sensitive guy but after loosing the memory it seems that he had a very long period of fasting and didn't got to eat all those delicious street foods, coffees and traditional food.

So this first half made me and my sister to stick with the screen just for entertainment. As we though this drama will also give us a new theme a new way to learn about world and situations.
It was one of the scene i want to share with you. Even though he don't have money he want to eat everything. Loosing his memory he forgot how to deal and survive in the world. You need something you have to pay for it, its not you get it for free if someone ask you do you want it.
Those people are there to earn their living by making and selling of their their things. When the ajhumma ask Louis do you want one he agreed and took one.
Bok Shil scold him they don' have enough money to spend like this. He just gazed at Bok Shil as innocent as a puppy. Bok Shil couldn't help but end up paying for the sandwich. He didn't forget his manners and wanted to share it with Bok Shil but she refused.
