The story Love in the Moonlight was too promising from the start but after seeing episode 12 preview we thought its a kind of similar to the political ancient dramas with palace conspiracies over the throne.

Seriously our attention for this story become a little down. As things were moving to its end to be revealed the truth. As Crown Prince become successful in finding Eunuch Hong's mother and reunite. It was his way to show his love and gratitude for the care and smiled he received from Eunuch Hong. But things go according to his plan.
With all well a happy ending but the other group who was actually run by Eunuch Hang who served the king. He was backstabbing whom the King or the Crown Prince just to take revenge for his old friend. He ordered his men to capture Eunuch Hong and make him hostage to control Crown Prince.
