Chief Kim the attractive title made us think of some Police investigation drama but its come out to be a story based on a gangster who collects money. The lead role played by Namgun Min made us droll. If you didn't knew much about let us brief he was the one villian criminal which really made us scared when we saw him "The Girl Who sees Smell" and we started to call him the "Bar Code Man".
It will be great to see him in another character. As the story of Chief Kim revolve around the life of Kim Sung-Ryong (Namgung Min) who used to manage money for gangs. The plot seems quite attractive and interesting as when ever the word Gang appear some where it brings action along with it and some times comedy too.
Other than Namgun Min, Nam Sun Mi the female lead and fame of Gourmet a food based drama which we watch 3 times yet still if someone ask to see it again we will surely mange our time to watch it out. Other than Gourmet we see her in Time between Dog & Wolf, Gunman of Joseon.
Jung Hye Sung the second female lead made us remember her from the character Princess Myungun from "Love in the Moonlight/ Moonlight Drawn by Clouds"
For sure the unique cast gather for Chief Kim will come up with the chemistry and laughter together. This drama story comes from the same writer who nailed "Good Doctor" and "Blood" and the director who who presents "Page Turner" a mini musical drama and a historical series "Jeong Do Joon". Chief Kim will be starting from 25 January 2017 on KBS2.
After inspiring by his acting we then saw his another criminal role in "Remember". We never though will gonna see him as a funny guy Ahn Dan Tae from "Beautiful Gong Shim" in which he has a habit to picks food from the floor and eat it.
Kim Sung-Ryong got an opportunity to work with a company. He accidentally become the chief of accounting department for TQ Company. After joining the company he stands for the weak workers who have been held down by the company.
He struggles to save the decaying TC Company, fighting against corruption and irrationality in the company. His character as Chief Kim appears to be very funny and a quirky manager who laugh even in the toughest situation.
