Baek hee has returned a mini serial of 4 episodes on KBS. We wonder why this story has to be the mini serial there should be at least 10 to 16 episodes. The story was plain nothing fancy or thrilling but lot many funny moments of villagers daily life. We really enjoy those 4 hours watching it out. Look like we were travelling and spending time along with them. All the characters were experienced and their acting was really impressive.
The story starts with the news baek hee is back spread like a fire in the town. Every one was wondering what made her return after 18 years. The finger sign indicate her to be some kind of legendary one that people couldn't able to forget.
Her return was really dramatic she was shooting her home documentary for the tv show. We were really impressed by her cooking skills. Her husband use to be a well known doctor and was in debt due to bad gambling habits.
The only daughter was the trouble maker who end up running away from the home and now as Baek Hee shifted back to town the daughter also followed her there. She couldn't understand what made her mother to the remote village where she couldn't even use the wifi or internet.

The atmosphere was really tense as all the villagers gather to find out who messed with their field. Every thing was going fine and peaceful yet Baek Hee has return accident like this started to happen.
Ok hee the troublemaker first encounter with the villagers after she accidentally burn down the green house plastic sheet. It wasn't intentional by her but seeing this incident we were sure there will be more incident in the future as well.
The first day of Ok hee at the school turned out into a hovac after she beat up the legendary Baek's click 19th generation. She sure look like the trained fighter who in no time knock down the three bully girls and end up punished by the home room teacher.
Bum Ryong the first ajusshi who deliver goods and runs the vassel from one town to another. He was also the one who witness and found some similarities in the attitue of little Ok hee and the Legendary Baek Hee. But couldn't understand why this little one's seems similar to the one he knows as she didn't belong to this town. Later he found out that Ok hee is actually the daughter of Baek Hee.

Come to think of the story was really interesting when it revealed Ok hee was there to find who about her biological father. The three of the ajusshi's find out Ok hee real age due to the money stealing incident that happen at the convenience store where Ok hee use to work as the part timer.
Things become embarrassing when the matter end up at the police station. Though Ok hee wasn't the culprit yet her mother didn't believe her. It was Bum Ryong who believed her and prove her innocent by finding the real culprit.
The cold hearted mother then took revenge on the convenience store lady by closing down the shop with the prove she sells expire date items and the food wasn't properly frozen. We never though she would take this part to clear her daughters name.
Ok Hee finds the Three Island Ahjusshis care for her more than her biological mother, and guessed that one of them must be her biological father. Some how she was correct but confused who it would be. The three men too, have their own reasons for thinking they’re Ok Hee’s father.

]Cha Jung Myung was also one of baek hee lover and old friend. He thinks Ok hee was her daughter in order to find the prove he wanted to do a paternity test. He took Ok hee's hair, but the clever Ok hee ripped off a handsome amount of money from him and also told him to let her knew the result if he is the biological father. hearing this Cha Jung Myung was speechless and we laugh. The little one was way too realistic and straight forward towards life.
The second Ajhussi Hong Doo Sik was also very found of Ok Hee as he thinks she was her daughter. He treats her really good more than his own daughter and gives her the triple of allowance daily.
Ok hee realize the people here are more reliable, friendly and caring, she then become curious of her mom scandal.
rather than her own mother and father she receive a lot of love from the three ajhussi. They care for her as their own daughter. Bum Ryung mother who suffers from amnesia, also like to spend time with little Ok hee unfortunately she died but before more bad thing could happen to Baek hee she reveal the truth ok hee's birth.
We finally come to knew that Ok hee's is Bam Ryong biological daughter. Things in the past happen that way the two of them had to part ways in order to avoid the misfortune.
Shin Ki Joon, Baek Hee's husband who has the habit of gambling and lost all his fortune took a chance and ripped off Baek hee by selling of Baek hee's house. After doing this he install the security camera and attached it with his mobile phone. We wonder what was he up to he definitely be one of the bad guy. He told Baek Hee that he is leaving for the business trip and will be back after 3, 4 days.
But Jang Mi, Baek Hee's friend came to ask why she sold her house and it was a surprising blast for baek hee. She never did so. She got the feeling something fishy after checking the deed papers and the stamp she realize it was her husband's doing.
Baek Hee was back to her origional self and followed Shin Ki Joon with the help of her friends. It was really the crucial moment we were bitting our nails to knew how will Baek hee going to catch Shin Ki Joon and how will she take revenge for stealing her property.
She showed the real action of baek hee legendary click and caught Shin Ki Joon. The husband was a fool enough to confess all the bad things he did in the past like making Baek hee's secret video and revealing it on the news with the name of "Red Socks". Also he reveal who was the one who blackmailed Baek Hee by sending her the red socks. he definitely dig his own grave by hitting on her foot.
The bad one gone leaving Baek Hee behind with her friends. Finally Baek hee smiled lively and spend a happy time. The three of the friends were curious to knew whom Baek Hee like the more. She then reveal the truth what made her leave the town.
She clear the confusion of Dok Shik by telling give that bracelet back to Jang Mi as she gave her the bracelet and made her the second head of Baek hee's club. The one who spend the night with him was Jang Mi.
For Jong Myung the truth turned out to be more embarrassing when Baek hee reveal that nothing happened back then on the ship. He woke up one day finding himself totally naked, and all he remembered was Baek-hee was with him the night before (and thought she kissed him…or did she?) what leaving a note on his fore head "Let's forget about what happened last night".
Nothing could be done as she revealed the bitter and embarrassing reality she saved his life and washed his poopy pant. This scene really make us laugh we never thought Baek Hee has such hilarious interaction with his friend.
So it was Bum Ryong who was Baek hee first love and they even share the same tattoo on their index fingers and was in the same club. He was Ok hee's biological father. It was a happy ending when the two of them finally reconcile after clearing all the misunderstanding. Ok Hee accept Bam Ryong as her father and told him to take good care of her mother.
The two of them spend night at the Vassel. It was their romantic time Dam Ryong who miss Baek hee a lot really loved her and showed it with his actions. Both cherish their old times as if its the beginning of their life.
It was really a simple story full of love, care, emotion and humor. Little Ok hee finally meet his father after having lot many interesting incidents. We were really impressed how Ok hee without any doubt inherit the temper of her mother, her fighting skills and attitude.
From the very first episode we guess may be Bam Ryong was the real father but we weren't sure as Baek Hee shed her old personality infront of her old friends so we doubted. We recommend you to watch this drama you will surely earn your 4 hour time with out any doubts.
