Finally we decided to watch sport and pick Birde Buddy out of curiosity. Back then we skipped it many times but the gener sports keep attracting us. I got too excited to watch the drama based on golf as i heard a lot about its too time consuming and boring game. My sister said to give it a try.
But she caught by me taking a nap during the drama. So it was boring for her not for me. I have seen in many dramas the evil people use golf stick to it the enemies. Reminding the usage of golf stick as a weapon its too horrible to think of it. But still i try to watch a golf drama.
After watching the first episode my prespective got change about it. The story was about the golf player John Lee how he become the best korean golfer. But after few years all though becoming successful he stop playing golf, the reason was unknown. This made my curiosity more bigger.
The story was too sensitive a poor loves to play Golf but can't afford to buy the balls. One day she found a golf stick in the storage room and come to knew her mom was a golf player who now works at golf stadium.
She Sung Mi-Soo struggled a lot to make her place into golf. Her mother help her a lot by bringing in the used golf balls and make her practice. This drama give us too much knowledge about golf as sports. The players and their hectic life.
What was remaining was the mystery how Sung Mi will survive to become a well known golf player and what connection will let her meet with John Lee.
Although the appearance of John lee wasn't look like a golfer but all the credit goes to the writer and director. Many things were deeply pointed in the drama and i think many details were put aside.
Min Hae-Ryung the second female lead who was too much into herself being rich and also the opponent of Mi Soo. Lee John was hired as a coach for Min Hae but the training couldn't continue due to the bad behaviour of her.
On the other hand Sung mi was totally opposite Min Hae she was polite, hardworking, ambitious and simple girl. Her family support her though being poor. Her only aim was to become the best golfer. She has patience and the skills to play golf no matter what the atmosphere and surrounding.
People around her use to criticize Mi Soo for being poor and emotionless as well. This sadden my heart. Why make fun of others if one has no talent himself.
Lee John refuse to train Sung Mi but actually he agreed and give her a really tough time. I agressive at moments but Mi Soo my goodness she bears every hardship in order to become a good learner and a best player.
This made me think its was good choice to watch Birde Buddy. The ending was too dull Lee John in the end disappears without saying anything to any body. I think he got badly injured and hiding it. It was nice watching a sports Family drama with unknown cast. For now listen the Windy Birdie Buddy OST.
